What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to share my passion and enthusiasm with students so that they can find learning easier, more enjoyable and more rewarding. I like seeing the development of students of all levels through their improved results and confidence. Tutoring allows students to achieve their best while also enhancing my own communication skills and understanding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My greatest strengths would be my approachability, enthusiasm, knowledge and flexibility. I am able to create a comfortable and exciting learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling intimidated or embarrassed. My enthusiasm also makes learning more enjoyable for students who may be less motivated. My great listening skills allow me to tailor the learning experience to the individual needs of a student. I can recognise different learning styles and develop strategies to best communicate complex ideas or target student weaknesses.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important role a tutor plays is to establish a friendly relationship with the student. This makes learning more engaging and achievable. My previous tutoring experience has shown me that students learn best when they are engaged more personally. For example, relating concepts to the hobbies of a student allows them to perceive learning in a more positive light. Furthermore, a highly positive relationship ensures that students are comfortable in their learning and willing to take risks that allow them to grow.
