My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I see an area of improvement in familiarising myself with the NSW syllabus. However with some the local experience I gained, I am managing to cover that gap.Through my previous experience I have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. For example, one student was highly frustrated due to the fact that he needed a longer time than he expected in order to learn the required material. I broke down the complexity of the topics by using basic examples and explain the problems in plain language. He passed the public exam due to my support and his parents commended me.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I perceive strong communication skills, high level of patience and sound receptive skills are very important in the role of a tutor. I showed the ability to adapt to my students’ needs. Especially when I had a student who experienced difficulties with the English language and topics covered in the 9th grade. I explained the material in a simplified manner and used visual aids where appropriate. Using this approach I improved her understanding of the subject resulting in a high pass.
