What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy assisting students in their learning and being able to have the opportunity to be a valuable mentor in their studies. I also enjoy problem solving and working out what the gaps in knowledge are and how each student can increase their grades though learning a specific skillset.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, my include my friendly and warm attitude to learning where I seek to build a trusting relationship. Moreover, I believe that my completion of Maths Extension 1, English Advanced and Economics is paramount in assisting the students learning owing to my knowledge and experience of the respective subjects. Over the years, I have received tutoring from many people over the years and have been able to draw from this experience to know what is effective and efficient. In my experience, it is about understanding the student, their strengths and weaknesses, their preferred learning style

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Following on from the previous question, an effective tutor fundamentally builds repour with the student so that they feel comfortable asking questions for clarification. Additionally this ensures that there is feedback provided to me as a tutor if any suggestions arise such as structuring essays that contradict a marking criteria or specific ways content should be tought. This allows the tutor to understand how the student learns and in turn, their learning style. Moreover, this allows the tutor to accurately grasp their strengths and weaknesses to allow for a more efficient and rewarding.
