What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping people in figuring out how to do things, especially in approaching difficult concepts. I also enjoy helping people build confidence in themselves and their abilities. Personally, having been to tutoring in my later years of high school, the trust and friendship I built with my tutors allowed me to be comfortable enough to ask questions and really pinpoint my weak areas which allowed me to improve. This is the aspect I enjoy most about tutoring, the closer and more personal feel which provides subjective and helpful experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient and friendly, allowing for an easy-going environment in which students are able to ask me anything and not feel unintelligent. In this way, I help students build confidence in themselves, which then translates into their work.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider building of confidence to be one of the most important things a tutor can do for their student. In doing so, I believe this gives students the ability to perform better. Another thing that adds to this that tutors can provide is a new way of thinking, which helps students to overcome concepts that they were otherwise struggling with. One of the most important aspects of learning is correcting mistakes and I think tutors, by knowing the student well, are able to provide a more personalised learning experience and help students target weak areas, helping them to improve overall.
