What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The one-on-one contact with the student is what I enjoy the most. It helps understand whether the student is picking up the information and skills that are being taught and if they need help with anything else they might be afraid to ask about. Face-to-face teaching also forms a affective bond between the teacher and the student. This allows the student to feel comfortable with the teacher allowing them to ask more questions regarding topics they do not understand.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very flexible with time and dates, if the student needs an extra last minute class right before an exam or test, I will be able to provide it for them. I am also very patient, if the student does not understand a topic, I will attempt to explain the topic to them in different wordsmith different explanations until they fully understand the topic.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Support the student with all their decisions. Some students may be experiencing a difficult time with some subjects or topics and may have a low self esteem because of this. I feel it is important for the tutor to notice this and help the student through their difficulty with understanding the topic/subject to the best of their abilities.
