What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy explaining concepts and principle in math and sciences. One overlooked benefit of teaching is that the teacher themselves is able to understand the material more deeply the more they teach and reiterate the concepts to themselves. This is also an initiative to go beyond the "syllabus" for me in order to be able to confidently explain simpler concepts to the students. I also like seeing the joy and relief of students who were struggling in school or not understanding a concept finally remove the burden and seeing their efforts put to work.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I would like to think that I am strong communicator of concepts and ideas as I like to explain things from the start and sequentially to avoid any missing knowledge or misunderstanding from the students. I also like to explain the why and the how of the theory and not just rather cram the students with content with no strong bases of understanding. Additionally, I like to pivot on the skill of problem solving as that is what is beneficial in today's world and current examinations.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing is to Listen. I feel like some tutors and teachers don't have the passion for actually teaching the students and just want to get it over with so they present with an almost "superior" attitude toward the student. Listening to what the students need or does not understand allows me to get to the bases of their lack of understanding in order to immediately tackle it and assist them.Subjects Tutored 🎓
