My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength as a tutor is that I am very passionate about and have a proven academic record in Mathematics. In addition, I am an excellent communicator, and have the confidence and ability to be influential and portray concepts in a simple and approachable, yet highly effective manner. Through primary school and high school I have been involved in various debating teams, in addition to taking part in Model United Nations competitions. My weakness is procrastination, however it is something I was able to manage well during the HSC and could assist my students in doing the same.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a Tutor can do for a student is to give them the confidence and self-belief that they will succeed in the subject, and this confidence generally comes through being familiarised with all the types of questions that they may encounter. In addition, a Tutor must be approachable and friendly, so that the student does not feel hesitant in asking any questions that they may have, and hence can maximise learning.
