What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The best part of tutoring is definitely seeing my students become successful and confident in something that they had previously been doubtful in and developing a greater level of independence by acquiring and applying the various methods of problem solving or techniques that I give to them in my lessons, making them more creative and critical in their thinking. Such skills are really important in life and seeing my students actively developing their skills in front of me is really encouraging for me as a tutor.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My students and their parents have told me that they love my flexibility in my tutoring methods; I can adopt different forms of communication such as visual or verbal to teach a student. I also have a high level of patience where I may need it when teaching students having had experience as a swim teacher. Similar to my strengths, I think a tutor needs to be flexible and patient with any and every student that they teach. A stubborn tutor that doesn't try to adapt to each student's personal needs or preferences won't be effective in their teaching, and a similar result follows for an impatient tutor. Additionally, any tutor should have a large bank of information that they can give to students who may have a variety of questions.
