I like tutoring as it a process of engaging with some about a specific subject and trying to make sense of it. Each student is unique and is on a journey. The fact that I can play a role in their progress is satisfying. Tutoring is skill which requires empathy, patience and the ability to make sense of things. I have all of these qualities as my strength. If I am engaging with a group of students, I am quick to identify who is able to grasp and who is not. I make my tutoring interactive and ask frequent objective questions to gauge the understanding of the students. I deliver concepts in bit size chunks that makes it easier to process. For e.g., Geography is combination of geo meaning Earth, and graphos meaning to write. All of these helps me in helping them learn.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is gravitate students toward learning by making them curious. A tutor should try to make learning an activity that students should look forward to. As tutors it is paramount to make sure that the learnings are not just marks-centric but a means to accomplishing more.

The student didn't communicate this. I was unaware about the test. The student acted nervous, anxious and uninterested than before. He started playing video game while I was looking for data to solve the question. I could be strict but I am untrained on how to deal with students with special needs. The student wouldn't communicate the requirements for the test and acted lost. The mother was away for this session.
