What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have always loved learning, and I am not afraid to learn from my students while teaching them. I enjoy creating a comfortable environment for students so I can encourage them to ask questions and share their own knowledge. Being asked questions can often help with my own understanding and can allow me to do further research into the topic to teach a student. My favourite part of tutoring a student is the opportunity that it provides so my student and I can learn more.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
From past experience, I have discovered that my ability to articulate knowledge to students is effective as I am able to change my method according to what works for the student. I am able to observe how a student learns efficiently and do my best to teach in a way which caters for them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
While a tutor can help a student understand a specific concept or question, I believe that the best thing a tutor can do for their student is motivate them and help them build confidence with the right encouragement. I also consider discovering a student's best method of learning to be an important role for a tutor, especially with one on one tutoring, I will have the opportunity help a student with this discovery.
