What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
What I enjoy most about tutoring is taking complex concepts and simplifying them in a way that allows anyone to understand them! This is often tricky as different people learn better in different ways so the approach should often be adjusted to fit the student and I find this challenge quite fun.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I am patient with people. This allows me to repeat my explanations as much as needed without any frustration until I am sure my student understands.
I am very detail-oriented. Therefore, I am sure I do not miss any important information when delivering lessons.
My organization skills allow me to plan my lessons efficiently and as a result teach in an organized way. This makes the time spent teaching much more effective and efficient.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The first thing I believe a tutor should do for a student is prepare well before meeting them. Preparing and organizing the lesson prior makes the time spent tutoring more effective.
The second most important thing would be patience and the ability to accommodate to a student's needs.
