What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I do enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with others in the hope that it helps them. I also think that tutoring is a good way to instill some confidence in students when they feel overwhelmed by the academic progress at school.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I would say that my strengths lie in patience and understanding. I believe these are crucial qualities that will help the tutor understand and cater to the student's needs. I have mentored students (informally) before and I must say that I found it significantly easier to tackle their problems when I took the time to understand them from their perspective.Most important things I can do for a student π
A tutor should always remember that their purpose is to help the student understand and love the subject and not do the work for them. They should try to help the student gain passion and curiosity for the concepts they learn. This will help them study and ace the subject. Furthermore, I believe that the most important thing a tutor should have is patience and compassion.
