My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengthens are being good-listener, strong communication skills, problem solving skills and friendly. As a tutor I will listen to the student to see where they struggle and make suggestions on how to understand the concept easier, for example through creative methods. I am persistent, confident in the student and will be encouraging when times get tough.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A few important things a tutor can do for a student is to be understanding and non judgmental. A tutor should listen to the students' concern/s and work at the same pace as the student, not giving them too little or too much work. Always make sure to let the student know you are there to help them and not to keep quiet when a problem arises. In order to achieve that, you need to be able to make the student feel comfortable around you so not to feel like it is a formal teacher-student situation but a friendly, easy-going environment.
