What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring brings me a sense of accomplishment. I love the process of helping students to regain their confidence and overcoming challenges in the subject. I also enjoy building relationship with the students, gain a better understanding of their unique learning style and find a better way to support them. In addition, teaching is a process of mutual improvement. I can also practice my communication skills and develop a better study method for each kid.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I got VCE ATAR of 95.20. I chose Math Method and Specialist Math for my VCE exam. I am an undergraduate student studying biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. l'm very patient and passionate especially for children. I'm always willing to help others and learn things quickly. I also have effective communication skills. It will be very useful when explaining questions and listening to the children's questions actively.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, tutor should explain the topic and concept clearly to the students. The difficult topics should be break down into smaller and easier chunks and provide real-life examples. Secondly, tutor should analyse each student's weakness and strength. Give personalised suggestions to different individual. Last but not least, it is important to trigger the interest for the subject in a student as interest is one's best mentor. I think the class should be interesting enough so that the student love to explore it even when the finish the current course.
