What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When it comes to tutoring, I enjoy being able to help others overcome their academic hardships. I also enjoy the art of teaching, and having to learn the problems students are facing, so that you can come up with an innovative solution towards their needs. I have a strong passion towards Engineering and other creative fields, and would like to share the knowledge and skills I have with others as a way of helping future generations grow, and give back to others in a meaningful way.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I know and understand through experience the hardships that students face when learning new skills, and the mental struggles they face when trying to keep up and stay motivated and engaged in their studies. I understand that everyone has a different way/perspective when it comes to learning, and that every student has individual strengths and weaknesses when it comes to their intellectual and creative capabilities. I also believe I am a very good listener, and am very good at understanding what people are trying to convey when explaining their issues. These are my strengths as a tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student is listen and understand what issues they are facing with the work, whether it is not understanding/visualising the concept correctly, or just struggling to follow or understand the steps taken in order to solve the question. The next important thing a tutor should do is ensure the student learns overtime how to solve these issues they were facing with their studies, through multiple attempts, trial and error, or through asking to clarify if their approach is correct, or to ask for help in order to better understand the steps taken.
