What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching the students' progress as they start to understand a concept that they have been struggling with. Developing a relationship that is based on support and understanding is another great thing about being a tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strength is patience. Before helping the student answer a question, I allow them time to think about the question and attempt an answer as I believe the ability to apply their previous knowledge is crucial in mathematics. Another strength is my time management and planning skills. I will understand the needs of students and prepare lessons according to their needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Make students feel comfortable and engaged through giving compliments and encouragements. This lets them get rid of any anxiety or feelings of incompetence when starting tutoring. I can make the student feel supported by ensuring they understand school work and homework as well as challenging them for building confidence.
