What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The impact I can make on a child is what I enjoyed most about tutoring. Seeing how I can help my student find purpose in studying and growth in self-esteem is one of the main reasons I love tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Communication and empathy are two of the most important strengths I have as a tutor. I believe knowing the right way to communicate and connect with tutees is crucial to discover their talents and potential. As we are different individuals, there is no fixed method of communicating with tutees. Alongside empathy, once the tutee is able to gain your trust and connect with me, I will be able to understand his/her educational needs so that lessons can be tailored personally to the tutee.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Being patient and flexible are the most important things a tutor can do for a student. As each student is here to learn, I believe that a tutor should not show annoyance when tutoring a student especially if there are certain concepts that need to be repeated or re-taught. Also, since each student has a different learning style, it is important for a tutor to adjust their techniques and cater to the student's learning needs.
