What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to connect with young people, and to hopefully encourage them to achieve in a way that is accessible to them. Tutoring allows you to really connect with the young person, and I believe you can be an important role model in their life.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I believe I am patient and have the ability to explain the same thing in various different ways. I understand that each person absorbs information based on their past experiences, and therefore a different approach is sometimes needed to be able to help each individual.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is build confidence. School can often be a highly pressurized environment with an intense focus on academic success. It is so important to remind young people that success is measured in many different ways, and that school can be a fishbowl -> everyone can be successful!
