What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find it extremely rewarding. I remember some of the children I used to tutor called me a couple of months ago. They had just received their 10th grade results and they were all extremely happy. They had scored pretty well and then in that moment I felt amazing listening to her excited voice telling me about her marks. It was an amazing feeling and I will never forget it. Another part I love about tutoring is making genuine connections and friendships with students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I personally feel like a proper understanding of the subject and love for the subject are some of the most important aspects of tutoring. I personally feel like I love the subjects that I have selected. Another important quality to tutor children is patience. I feel it is extremely important to be able to reach a child's understanding level and then try to teach them. What may appear trivial and easy to us may not necessarily be easy for them to understand. I feel like I have the patience and understanding to teach children. I also love coming up with creative lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Some of the most important things a tutor can do for the children is put in patience, hard work and time into their lessons. I personally used to love coming up with creative lessons or analogies to help students understand what they are learning. It's also extremely important for the tutor to be able to establish a mutual trust and a friendship bond with the students they teach. It is extremely important for the tutor to be patient with their students and no matter how long it takes for the kids to understand a concept, they must never lose patience.
