What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I have always enjoyed teaching people, even as ad-hoc activities such as answering questions from peers. The satisfaction of guiding someone from not knowing or not sure how to approach or answer a question, to knowing that they are able to accomplish so is beyond measure. Teaching is not just about sharing of knowledge, but also guidance and nurturing future generations.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
One strength of me being a tutor should be patience, as different students can have different pace of learning and it is important to cater to each student's needs and their learning pace.
Another strength I would consider myself would be experience. Coming from a different country, some of the ways I can teach or techniques for learning in school might be helpful in offering a different perspective to the students.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is always looking out for them. Be it looking out for their pace of learning, their mental condition, or anything in general. A tutor should always look out for a student and observe what he or she potentially needs, or is lacking in. That way, tutor can adjust the class materials accordingly to the conditions of the student to achieve an optimal result.
