What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite part about teaching is interacting with my students. I love figuring out innovative ways to explain concepts to students so that they can understand, based off their learning style and level. I also enjoy forming a relationship with my students based on trust and to help them to feel confident in making mistakes.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I like to think I can make maths really engaging for students who find it difficult. I prefer working with lower ability students and students with SEN. I am less good at teaching top sets although I am willing to do this as lower year groups.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To feel confident in their own ability and empowered to make mistakes and be curious about maths. I enjoy watching my students grow as mathematicians and as people, and watching them succeed when they didn’t think they could
