What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I always love teaching others within my own ability. The process from confusion to gaining a satisfied learning experience is what I am looking for when I am teaching. It is inevitable that teachers at school might not have enough time to take care of each student needs which leave some students not being taken cared of. By getting one to one tutoring, I would be able to teach the contents more in depth and even share my experiences learning the same content, what challenges I encounter and how I overcome it in the end. Doing so allows me to connect with the student more and they will be more engage.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As an Arts & Education student, I always have the passion for teaching regardless of the background or level of the student. I believe that my patience and perseverance can help the student to understand the content. I like to use short stories to explain a concept of any subject that the student is struggling with, because stories are one of the best ways to get someone to fully comprehend the logic behind such concept or theory.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Been through high school helps me to understand what students struggle with in general . I have done teaching placement in Cranbrook School and Kingsgrove North High School and Matraville Sports High School, from which I accumulate paramount experiences teaching students with a range of abilities, including those with below average literacy levels, with ADHD, and autism. I have accumulated and executed different evidence-based practice on these students. Hence, I am confident to approach the student with the appropriate strategies and thus enhance their learning experience. I always aim to put myself into others shoes which allows me to select the adequate method to teach effectively and efficiently
