What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to help other people solve maths problems that they can't solve. I have always pushed myself to discover new methods that can be applied to make the formula easier for the students to understand. Most importantly, I love the challenges that comes with becoming a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am a person who is very passionate about maths. During my early stages at my primary school, I used to score low grades for maths, just because I lack on the understanding and practice, but once I had a great tutor to guide me, I better understood the methods and also I pushed my grade from a C to an A. I guess this is one of my huge strengths because I have been a student who was weak at Maths, and I know what it takes and what should I do to improve a students understanding in Maths.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

FIrst, analyse the current understanding level on the subject of the student. Second, analyse how quickly can the student grasp a new method/concept. Third, be patient and try out a different concept if the student doesn't understand the previous method. Lastly, connect maths with real world scenarios and teach them in the most suitable ways possible. These are the three steps that I have always followed in tutoring my students, as all students are not the same. As a tutor I believe that we have to be more patient and understanding towards students, as learning should be a fun not hard process
