What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy seeing the moment when their eyes light up and they understand the concept I've been explaining to them. I am highly professional but due to my age, recent graduation and being in lockdown for most of year 11 and part of year 12, I can easily relate to students in the most cohorts. It gives me the most satisfaction to not only teach a concept but to encourage them to develop good study skills and habits to allow them to succeed in further studies.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having achieved a 99.80 ATAR in 2021 I know what it takes to study successfully and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Having mentored my peers in year 11 and 12, I am an excellent listener and don't simply 'tell' an explanation to a concept. I am an excellent mentor because I encourage independent thinking and being able to critically to guide yourself to understanding the topics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor is to develop a professional but genuine relationship with rapport with the student. I believe it is paramount not only to teach the content, but also to develop quality study skills and a healthy relationship with the student to encourage them to succeed in study throughout schooling, to uni and until the rest of their life.
