What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable part of being a tutor is problem solving. With my experience in tutoring upper, year 11/12 mathematics, I was constantly faced with challenges and thus always had to problem solve, no matter what type of question the student gave me. These types of challenges for me, and the feeling of finally understanding a question fully and then being able to explain it to the student to a point where they understand it fully too, is the most enjoyable part, knowing I did my job right.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are my abstract problem-solving skills and my ability to understand any question type thrown at me. As I have recently completed high school, after having undertaken year 12 mathematics Methods and Specialist courses along with Chemistry, Human Biology, Japanese and English. I find it easy to understand and explain questions to my students. Another strength that may not be widely accepted as one is my ability to "make friends" with my students. I believe that along with the ability to teach your student, you should also have the ability to be approachable to where your student will actually want to ask questions and not shy away.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I can do for my student would be to not only have the knowledge but also the ability to answer any question that may not be in my knowledge, to the point where I can understand any question the student throws at me and then also be able to explain it in the most understandable way possible for the student.
