What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing good results after a session or prolonged period is always rewarding and sweet when tutoring a student as it was all their effort with just a bit of guidance and assistance from me. I also enjoy sharing advice that I wish I had when I was in secondary school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a reliable person thus, I believe that it is important for a tutor to be available to answer and help a student when they need it. I can recognise what knowledge I am comfortable with teaching but also prepare myself to understand concepts from authentic resources and guide the student to knowledge banks that I had used in the past. Subsequently, as I was once in my student's shoes I understand the stress and pressure to get the right answers on assessments and homework. Due to this, always being understanding and kind is extremely important to me when tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important value a tutor can teach a student is the motivation to change their perspective of learning or studying as inspiration to be a better student rather than viewing it as a chore. Guiding the student to reliable and trustworthy resources to grow their understanding on concepts so they have a tool to explore and learn from even after tutoring. Additionally, creating a friendly, approachable and professional relationship between the tutor and the student.
