What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The impact that a tutor can have on a student is incredible. You could be the reason a student develops a greater sense of purpose or self-esteem at school. You could help give a student confidence to pursue their field of interest with more conviction. You could be the one that puts a student over the edge and into the course they wanted, which influences their life trajectory forever. I really enjoy teaching and seeing how with a little help huge progress can be made.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have 5 siblings and I am the oldest, so I know how to deal with kids from all ages and as a good older brother before tutoring any other kid, I have tutored all my younger siblings at home, so I think that I don't see tutoring as a job, but instead as a way of using my knowledge to help people.

Firs of all, tutors fill a different role than teachers and parents. They are able to support and encourage students from a different position. Personal relationships are vitally important to student success because the more connected a student feels to his tutor, the more the tutor creates trust and respect, which are essential ingredients for students to learn well. When a tutor listens and spends time building a relationship with his student, that tutor can do things such as truly personalize the learning, teach to the student's strengths and minimize the student's weaknesses.
