What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the breakthrough moment with the student. You see them struggling to master a concept over and over again, but then there is finally that ah ha moment where everything clicks and the progress really begins.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very patient, I understand that learning is a process and it doesn't occur at the same rate for everyone. For this reason, I am able to try a bunch of different approaches to solving the same problem until one sticks.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most crucial part of any tutoring experience is to make sure that the student knows that the tutor is there for them and will not get frustrated if mess something up. If the tutor comes off as condescending or annoyed at a lack of progress, it can allow the student to put added pressure on him/herself or create an aversion to learning any new material presented. If the student knows that the tutor will not be upset if they mess up, a healthier learning environment is facilitated.
