Zoe did well in solving equations. She still remembers the steps and takes less time to solve each question. She also works well with fractions and can work on application questions that are related to fractions and equations now.
Zoe needs further practice on the negative number which I'll cover the basics again next week. She struggles sometimes to calculate large numbers too. I'll bring more examples in relation to these topics to boost her confidence in the future.

Zadie portrays a great understanding of her previous topics. She has her basics down quite well (from fractions, and equations to multiplication), and I think this will help her a lot in the upcoming year. Throughout these few months with Zadie, she gains so much more confidence to calculate large numbers and attempt application questions. The main strength that she has are visualisation, she performs very well in topics like areas, volumes, graphs, and angles. I am very proud of how quickly she now can solve the questions and how she always tries to attempt every question given with a positive and open-minded attitude. I am certain that she will continue to do well in everything she puts her mind to.
When it comes to calculation with no calculator allow, Zadie still needs more practice. She understands the concept to calculate but, sometimes it takes her a while to solve it. However, this skill can get better as she faced more questions on these topics.
Zoe attempt several questions on the equations and understand the concept quite well when it comes to addition and subtraction.

Since Zoe did not feel well this week, she struggles to concentrate and focus on the new content which is understandable to me. The multiplication and division topics still are the main focus that she needs to improve further.

Zoe shows great understanding of last week's content - when we did a revision, she still memorize the laws and did the questions correctly. With multiplication and division of fractions, Zoe understands it quickly and be able to do the questions straightaway after few examples.
For the addition and subtraction of fractions topic, Zoe still struggles to understand the concept of changing the "denominator". She needs more practice on this topic and I will continue to encourage her to attempt more questions in class to ensure she can remember the concept
