What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students achieve what they don't believe possible. Sometimes we can get into our heads and be limited on what we think is achievable, and I like seeing the process of how mentorship and guidance can allow students to overcome self doubt and achieve their goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I love my maths and that is my passion when it comes to educating. But I am also quite patient. When it comes to primary learning, I like to be visual and give visual explanations to make children understand why the answer is what it is (e.g. 2 x 3 = 6, using coloured lollies or stationary to make them understand the answer).

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Definitely detailed explanations on the process, so a full understanding is uncovered for the student. When I was in high school, class can only teach you so much - I used to go after school to my teachers to seek help and get the deeper understanding of the content. Tutoring is there as an extra support for the student, I think it's important to go over what they are struggling with the most, so time isn't wasted on things they are confident in.
