What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing the students faces when they begin to understand a concept or something makes sense for the first time. Being able to mentor the students while tutoring and build relationships with them is amazing. Increasing their excitement and enjoyment in learning is so rewarding and I love seeing the impact I have had on them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can relate to the students because of my age and I have younger siblings still attending High School. I have a lots of knowledge about maths and studying multiple Maths units at university while tutoring. I have already had a term and a half experience as a teacher in local High Schools and can apply a lot of that knowledge to my tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The number one thing is to ensure the student feels heard and cared for. The student needs to feel the tutor cares about their education and success for them to care as well. If the student doesn't feel comfortable talking to the tutor about what they find difficult in the subject progress can not be made. The tutor also needs to enjoy what they are doing and the maths (subject) they are tutoring, so the student can see that it is possible and they have an enjoyable experience even if it is their least favourite subject (which maths usually is).
