What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
The connection that I form with my students, gives me the ability to get to know each of them. This leads me to identify their insecurities as well as life goals and ambitions. I always find it fascinating when help out my students survive academically as well as socially and mentally and it also makes me a role model.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
Communication skills, creativity, and how I organise the lessons are my greatest strengths. I have come across students who were comfortable listening to me rather than engaging with the class. I used to come up with different ideas to make their lessons more alive and comfortable for them to get more engaged.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important things to a student are when their tutor is honest, patient, a good listener, and confident in their teaching. Sometimes when the tutor tends to share their own experiences, it builds up the connection between the tutor and the student. Once there is a friendly environment between the two parties, it will be more advantageous for the student. It will help the student to recognise their strengths and weaknesses.
