As a tutor, the most important thing I can do is to help the student figure out where their confusion is, is it just the question being asked or the logic of how to interpret this question. They may confuse about the original theory they've learned because they can't link it to real life to apply or they didn't see it clearly in the first place, since sometimes people may mistake the things totally on the first page.
