What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy teaching other people as I love helping people to understand the applicability and patterns in maths as well as helping them to understand it as a process of reaching a destination through using a series of tools from simple addition to factorising and differentiation.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor are in understanding Maths from a different perspective because of my wider range of interests. I love understanding the maths in economics such as how differentiation can be used in finding the elasticity of demand. I would also say I was never particularly naturally gifted in maths, but I could learn concepts through the logic of building upon my prior knowledge which is extremely useful when tutoring as often the student that is being taught may not immediately grasp the concept.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be able to explain concepts in various ways and use examples from other subject areas such as physics, music, economics, etc. I also believe the tutor should be able to support and encourage the student in a friendly manner, but should also push the student because often they are more capable than they think.
