Show them that they are capable of the work and believe in them; often kids get discouraged from test scores but I think they just need to know that they are capable. I think a tutor can give them the confidence to assert their knowledge in their work and in the classroom then. As well as this, when they believe they are capable of the work, they are more likely to be motivated in doing it. I feel very passionate about this as it took a great teacher believing in me for me to push myself in my maths abilities which has now led to be pursuing that further in university.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
