Starting to write things into a diary Focus is something that will take a while for him to improve on, but if he's willing to make these changes, then I believe we can make some really good progress

Indie is a very bright and energetic learner, I can defiantly see she has a passion for learning. I believe that with the small changes we made in our first session will definitely help her become a bit more organized and on top of things. But obviously this will take time and she must put the effort in for this to work. I am excited for our second session
- Very easily distracted - Shows a lack of interest and/or motivation - Very limited knowledge and understanding of the topics for her assignment - Unorganized -> due to the lack of motivation I got Indie to get herself a diary so she could write important dates and other things down. Seeing as she would usually write things in her phone, and never check it again, usually missing due dates. Her having the diary will motivate her to check when things are due and help her organize her priorities for not only school. Additionally, her mum is in the process of buying a folder so she can keep her notes, assignments etc together (also easier to access seeing as she misplaces most of her work). Lastly, I’ve gotten her to try highlighting her notes and also limiting how much information she copies in class as she will only retain the important information. Usually, when she studies, she doesn’t listen to music so she can talk to her peers. As a way of overcoming this, she is trialing listening to music while she studies so she won’t get as distracted.
