What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students to achieve their maximum potential. In each lesson, I aim to strengthen the student’s core foundations by encouraging them to develop strategies, analyse solutions and reflect on core concepts, not merely rote learning and memorising step by step instructions.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor I think my strengths are: I'm a very patient person, I always take time to analyse a situation before making a decision, which means as a tutor I carefully analyse the strengths and weaknesses of a student so that I can focus on them in order to help the student become better in a particular subject. I like to think of myself as a strategist, developing ways to strengthen a student’s core foundations so that they are ready for more complex topics. I'm a very optimistic person, I encourage students and make them confident in their abilities and progress. I like to make things easier than they look which means making harder concepts less intimidating and overwhelming for students,allowing them to be more receptive to new concepts

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do are: addressing the student's weaknesses and try to help the student overcome them, be encouraging and supportive, give helpful studying tips, be patient and approachable, help the student improve their progress in a subject by teaching them new concepts in the simplest and easiest to understand way
