My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am personable, approachable and extremely patient. I like to see things through. I enjoy sitting exams (!) because I love the feeling that all the revision has paid off (I love to teach other people to appreciate this feeling!). I used tutors for my own studies (3+ years of Maths, Physics, English and French) and I know how useful it can be. I also learned that asking as many questions as possible is the best way to learn. For a student to ask questions, they must know that the tutor is a good listener. from my experiences, I have become a very good listener.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Listen (most important), identify the problem (specific to the student) and teach them the solution to that problem in the way that they learn best. Also, the preparation of concise tailored revision notes, cheat sheets and flash cards were a great help to me when I had tuition.
