My Strengths as Tutor 💪

From a very early age I knew that reading and writing would be a significant part of my life. I was at the top of my class for English when I graduated in 2011, and I have always excelled in work that requires written analysis. I am always happy to talk about reading and writing, and my favourite conversations are those where I talk about the way language is used. I have always been willing and patient in helping anyone who needs guidance. I communicate best in small groups, especially one-on-one, which is why I believe tutoring would suit me perfectly.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To learn the nature of the student's mind and how their brain processes information, so that a lesson plan can be tailored to their specific needs. There are many ways an individual can learn, and the most valuable thing a tutor can do is explain the information in a way that connects with the student's own learning capabilities. A tutor must be patient and accommodating when it comes to dealing with a student, only strict in the sense that they understand what is best for each individual student, and are eager to push them in that direction.
