It makes me happy to see students enthusiastic about the topics that I'm interested in too. Having students ask me questions is one of the things that makes me happiest. A tutor has to enable the student. Teaching them specific knowledge only goes so far. A tutor needs to give a student confidence that they can overcome their academic obstacles. Teach a student how to obtain resources in order to learn in their own time too.
