My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor would likely be my ability to gauge the student's current ability and how I can facilitate them by using my knowledge and the provided resources to aid them unleash their full potential.
I can also guarantee to provide them with relevant tips to strive for excellence. I will do this by relating to the problems they face when attempting maths and suggest prospective solutions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important aspects of being a tutor are being reliable, patient, understanding and fun! I believe that a tutor plays a vital role in a student's academic success. I have determined that I can call myself a successful tutor when I am able to patiently teach my student and I have made sure they harnessed the actual math concept. It is also important to be a reliable and understanding educator since keen and curious students can have wonderful questions and it is crucial to be able to guide them through the content. Finally, maths is fun when practiced right.

Today, Lilly was more confident with her maths and was able to identify that she often second guesses herself. She was also able to demonstrate better understanding of matrices and other content we covered in previous lessons.
Lilly needs to practice more binomial expansion. She also needs to avoid second guessing her answers and methods. This can be done by doing a logic check at the end of solving for an answer. Eg: sub in x back into equation to verify answer.
Lilly was happy to learn new and complex equations and how to solve them. Her persistence is much appreciated!
