What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy seeing a student's improvement over time as I tutor them; it's fulfilling to know that I had some hand in helping a student not only improve their grades, but help with their confidence as well.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think one of my biggest strengths is being very open and welcoming to students. I understand that for many students, having a new tutor may be a daunting and unfamiliar experience. So I do my best to teach in a way that is friendly, warm and importantly, making clear that this is a space where students can communicate openly.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Listening and being observant. It's important to acknowledge that all students are different and how they learn will vary. So to really help a student grow and improve, I believe it is vital to understand how exactly a student learns. I believe a good tutor should be able to tailor their teaching process to fit the student.
