What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy watching the student grasp the concept they are struggling with and replace that frustration with excitement. I feel that it is really rewarding to see someone else succeed through their hard work and determination and to be able to be a part of that journey and to know that you had a part in replacing the negativity associated with a certain subject to something positive instead.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I am an empathetic person so I am able to understand each student and their unique differences. Through my experiences with helping other children, I pride myself in being able to know when they start to feel frustrated and would switch to either another topic or find a way to calm them down before encouraging them to try again. This prevents them from feeling disappointed in themselves and they are able to take time to recollect their emotions and reattempt the questions with new found motivation.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should motivate their student to strive for the best while remembering that every student is different and using different methods to comply with the needs of the students in order to help their student in the most effective way. In order to achieve this, the tutor needs to build a genuine and strong relationship with their students to build trust and respect so that the student will be more willing to learn, by giving the student space to voice their opinions and hold discussions, and not forcing their own opinions and beliefs onto the student.
