What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

From my previous tutoring experiences I have found that the most joy has come from giving students encouragement which is important in order to reinforce to them that they are on the correct path. Also providing students with feedback and areas of improvement is also enjoyable as it gives them challenges and a drive to work harder to achieve their goals.

One of my strengths I believe is my positive attitude and mindset as it means the student is more likely to reciprocate this behaviour which is not only beneficial for their success academically in their final years of secondary school, but it would also have a positive impact on their mental health. Having a positive outlook also encourages productivity which is a stepping stone to success in whatever field they desire.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

There a many key things that I believe a tutor can do to create a positive impact on their students. One of them I believe is for the tutor to be willing to share their knowledge in any area that the student is struggling with or wants some guidance in. I believe this is crucial as it is one of the main advantages of having a tutor in that they can part some knowledge about a topic in a way that has benefited them personally. Maintaining this skill of sharing is a trademark of a good tutor as it is crucial that the student is aware of the tutor's commitment to them through ongoing support.
