What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to help students improve themselves academically and I find it extremely satisfying once I see them understand a certain concept. I personally struggled with maths myself for a while, but managed to improve greatly with the help of my own tutor.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
If it's any consolation, I received an ATAR of 98.90, however I don't believe a good ATAR necessarily makes a good tutor. Instead, there are other factors which are worth much more. For example, I think that I have the ability to break concepts down and explain them in a clear and straightforward manner. I also value understanding instead of pure memorisation as, whilst having a good memory does help, it is impossible to truly learn something without fully understanding it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I find it important for tutors to be able to make a student comfortable to ask them questions and to give wrong answers. The most important way we learn is through seeing our failures and determining what we can do better the next time. Without being able to acknowledge their own mistakes and see how they can do better, students will not be able to improve as much as they want to.Subjects Tutored 🎓
