What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy learning new concepts and gaining new understanding. Even more so, I enjoy passing on this understanding to others, and witnessing their improvement. I also find that the experience further solidifies my own understanding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor lies in my abstract understanding of some concepts. In my own studies I have sought a deeper level of understanding than the often over-complicated processes in textbooks. While I understand the need to rehearse these methods well, I believe that it is important to think creatively, as this is what examiners are looking for. As a tutor I am able to impart some of this creative thinking onto students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe it is important for a tutor to understand each individual student's learning style, and hence approach each student's teaching in the manner which best benefits them. It is also important for a tutor to be patient, open and honest, and always listen keenly to what his/her student has to say.
