What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the one on one experience, because there is more time to get to know your student as a learner, and what their strengths and weaknesses are. It gives us the opportunity to work on areas students might not have the chance to improve at school, because they can't get that individual feedback and guidance.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My greatest strengths as a tutor is that I can give on the spot, detailed feedback to students and can keep track of student progress and work using the methods taught to me by my mentors on placement. I also have a very systematic approach to taking notes, and studying when it comes to English and Humanities.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to show them efficient and effective ways of taking notes and studying, giving students detailed feedback and enabling students to reflect and learn from their own work by marking practice assessments and working together.
