What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It is a great way to connect and encourage students to pursue their dreams. Outside of just educating a student, it's very rewarding to see the personal growth and the confidence a student gets when they undergo tutoring. Also depending on the particular subject or topic that requires tutoring, it can be very interesting or challenging, which never makes the job boring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength as a tutor is communication and fostering a good working relationship with the students. I have been a mentor on many occasions and building that trust and rapport is something I always strive for.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

At a foundational level, it's most important to ensure the student feels confident with the material they're learning. As a first step, it's important for a tutor to assist in honing in and helping the student practice so that their skill level matches the basic requirements of the subject. Then the next most important thing a tutor can do for a student is instill a sense of motivation, purpose and best of all, a sense of aspiration. The best thing a tutor can do is help a student find a purpose behind their studying, and inspire them to find a future career they'll love.
