I'm a very patient person naturally, and in this field it's very important to understand that students make take time to understand new concepts and being impatient not only intimidates them but ruins the learning experience. One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is help them develop confidence in their academic abilities. A lot of students find it hard to grow academically due to their lack of confidence and communication with teachers, therefore as a tutor it's very important that you make sure students understand that there is no such thing as a bad question, and ensure that students are comfortable communicating their ideas to you.
