What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I most enjoy being able to help a student find confidence in themselves to be able to accomplish what can often be a hard and pressured goal to achieve. I love being able to help someone reach their goals and to achieve their absolute best.
More specifically, I can tutor the following:
- Maths (K-8, 9&10 5.3)
- English (K-10, 11&12 standard/advanced)
- French beginners
- K-10 science
- 11&12 Biology
- 11&12 IB Psychology
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my strengths as a tutor are:
- Knowing the curriculum since I have only just left school
- Being organised
- Passionate: I want the student to perform their best
- Being friendly & patient: I understand that sometimes some students won't grasp concepts as quickly as others
Most important things I can do for a student π
I consider confidence to be the most important thing I can give to a student as I believe every student has the capability of doing well in any subject, but belief in themselves is needed. Upon starting year 11, I really struggled at chemistry, majorly. But thankfully I had the best tutor that pushed me and gave me the drive & self-belief to achieve my goal and get such a great outcome. I hope I can do the same for other students.
